006 ☓ voice
[Anyone who knows Scar or has spoken to him before will recognize his voice. But he's sounding... a little worn out. Frazzled. The tiny mews of a dazed Espurr can be heard in the background, along with the steady thumps of something far more solid than rain hitting the hotel roof.]
The Pokémon that are falling out of the sky. Do not unfold their ears. Just... don't.
[This has been a public service announcement. He had just been trying to give it a bath!]

action;
Oh for the love of... Don't tell me that loud noise was caused by HIM?]
Scar...? Are you in here?

Holy shit... Scar! Scar!! What the hell happened?!

Ears...
[He glances briefly to Espurr before setting to work trying to parse what he had injured. At the very least, it didn't feel like there was anything broken.
Espurr, however, is looking incredibly guilty.]

[Not understanding what the man means, Raikov checks Scar's ears. There's no blood coming out of them so that's good. And he can rule out deafness because he responded to Raikov's voice.
That's when he looks down at the Espurr. ... That's an awful guilty expression there.]
... The ditzy cat did this?

[Scar, wincing in pain, tries to sit up properly. Yes, he's definitely bruised several ribs. But he knows the feeling of a broken one, and that blessedly isn't this.]
no subject
... I'm not even going to question how. Are you alright? Anything broken...? I can call the hospital.
no subject
[And Scar will repeat those words even if the world is (literally) disintegrating around him.
He begins moving for the edge of the bed, clutching at his side and trying not to lean too heavily on Raikov.]
no subject
You don't look fine.
And you're getting the bed tonight. There's no way I'm going to let you sleep on the floor with whatever injuries you might have.
no subject
[No, he doesn't know that for sure, but it's pretty damn close. He's broken plenty of bones in his lifetime, he knows what that feels like. Not to mention his general reluctance to seek medical help.]
I'll be fine once I've gathered myself.
[He can at least be thankful he didn't hit the part of his head that was concussed in the hurricane.]</small.

[He frowns, looking genuinely concerned for once. YOU SEE WHAT YOU DID, SCAR? Raikov attempts to help lower him on to the bed.]
If you don't want to go to the hospital than at least least let me tend to your wounds. I've got some medical supplies in my pack...

[Once Scar's on the bed and comfortable as he can be given the current situation, Raikov goes to fetch his first aid from his bag.]
Here...
no subject
Just tell me how the swelling looks.
no subject
It isn't good, that's for sure. I've got some pain killers here...
[He pulls out a bottle from the first aid pack.]
Take two of these first - then we'll get you wrapped up.
no subject
[His posture is uncomfortably stiff, good as he is at hiding the worst of the pain.]
no subject
You need the pills. I can tell you're in pain.
no subject
[That comes out as a growl.]

no subject
Just get on with it, if you must.
no subject
[And he starts wrapping up Scar's chest as gently as possible. The less he has to move, the better.]
There... Just rest for now, okay? We can't travel if you don't recover.
no subject
[He rolls his shoulders, movements still ginger as he tests the bandages.]
no subject
I'm not letting you strain yourself. If we need to stay here another night, I'll pay for the room.
