You're welcome. It's for me, too.
And easier than throwing everyone else but Greed out of the house.
[She's only joking, the light tone of her voice making it obvious, but she wants Scar to understand her point. She won't let anything come between them.]
Though I do have one small question that I'd rather not make any assumptions on. I can't afford a two bedroom rental on top of my own house. What are you most comfortable with? A shared loft with two beds, a pull out in the living room...?
[Maybe just one bed for both of them, but she's not holding her breath. They did sleep together that one night, though....]

If there's room, I'll get you a pullout.
I just didn't want to make any assumptions.

Actually, there might be. I'd like to find one furnished already, but in the event I have to furnish it myself...
Would you help with the furniture?
Would you help with the furniture?
I'm sure there'll be something. Upkeep and fixing things and all that. Things that involve hammers.
[Lust is in her bedroom at Shark House, an unfamiliar silver ninetales draped over her lap. Both look contemplative and forlorn.]
A close friend went back home.
Two of his Pokemon showed up in my care and he's not listed in the index any longer.
[It's the first time someone she's close to, not just casually acquainted with, has left. Her first instinct is to call Scar.]

He was my very first friend, you know. In the traditional sense, anyway.
[She sighs, stroking the Pokemon in her lap.]
He tried to teach me how to cook.

He tried to teach me how to cook.
I said he 'tried' to teach me, not that he was successful. He sent me recipes all the time.
[For some reason, just talking about Kirikou helps. She knows he has a perfectly fine life he's gone back to, but she's also very aware that he'll never call her in the middle of the night just to chat again. It's strange, how much that bothers her.]
The other Pokemon he left to me...it's his Clefairy he taught to cook. I think that was on purpose.

I made a vegetable stir fry last night that wasn't awful. The rice was too sticky, but it was edible.
[She's quiet a moment.]
I miss you.
[It's more clear an expression of emotion and affection than she's usually comfortable with, but she's low and emotional right now. And she does miss him. Especially right now.]

Are you sure? I know it's ridiculous, we talk nearly every day, but...
I've gotten used to having you around.

We can go back once the Halloween season's over. The busy time ends promptly following the holiday.
Guttle will be glad to see you all.
I'll bring them treats from the circus.

Not all of them.
He gets more than enough while we're at work.

Everything's fine here. A bit full of Pokemon, I still have all of those Eeveelutions that belong to a friend, but that's hardly a problem.
It's been nice, having Alphonse here.
