[Yes, he's talking about the Pokémon who accidentally blasted him into a wall a couple of months ago. Scar's tone is thoughtful. Truth be told, he's a bit worried about her. Keshet is jumpy, nervous, and very reserved.]

The one who grew attached to me was heavily shaken from whatever it was that brought them here, and she doesn't seem to have recovered from it. She is hesitant to use her abilities and doesn't seem comfortable with her situation regardless of what I do.

You have only just arrived? Yes, Pokémon are normally highly social creatures. The bonds they form with humans are... stronger than those of simple pets.

Socializing does sometimes help, but she does not seem inclined to spend much time with other Pokémon at all.

Hm. Would you say it's rare, then? That it should behave like that?

I wouldn't say rare, but it doesn't align with the personalities of my others.

[Scar, that's because you tote fluffy babies with you everywhere.]

Interesting. [ He pauses again. ] Do you mean others of the same... [ he hopes this is the right word ] species of Pokemon? Or just the others that you have?

[ levi is still pretty new and he's having a lot of trouble wrapping his head around the idea that pokemon have distinct and separate personalities outside of their base traits so oh god please forgive his interrogation ]

No, they aren't the same species. But Pokémon personalities are strikingly human in nature, and if a person were behaving as Keshet is, so incredibly nervous of their surroundings, I would assume something was wrong.

[Unfriendly as he may be, Scar doesn't mind explaining all of this to a newcomer.]
