Is there actually a purpose to this second chance?]

I am curious. Do you view coming here as a bump in the road, or as a second chance for something?

I have yet to see any indication that the people here hold any faith beyond their obsession with Pokémon.

Mildly so, yes. They are fascinating creatures, but this world truly does seem to revolve around them.
